The Trail

Eleven chapters, from 1972 to today — and one still open, not yet closed. Every node is real: the company, the role, and the dates come straight from his own record.

1972 – 1982

Early Years on the South Pacific Coast

Cortés de Osa · Ballena de Osa · Tinoco de Osa · Uvita

Born in 1972 in Cortés de Osa, south of Bahía Ballena. The early years pass in Ballena de Osa, then Tinoco de Osa. After his father's death, he and his mother move to Uvita, where she meets John Tresemer, who becomes his stepfather. He attends school in what is now La Cusinga — then known as Quebrada Grande.
